Thanks to the support of bilateral cooperation of EEP and Norway Grants, festival Serial Killer could organise many presentations and meetings with our Norwegian guests. Norwegian serial production is, mainly thanks to the Norwegian public television NRK, one of the most progressive in Europe which was also highligted in our festival section Focus: Norway.
Ivar Køhn, Head of Drama of NRK, took part in Q&A after the screening of Twin, along with actress Rebekka Nystabakk and producer Andrea Backstrøm. The next day, he presented the opening keynote-speech of the Industry Days programme in which he described the qualitative shift of Norwegian drama series in the last decade.
Leif Holst Jensen, dean of the faculty of Film, TV and Games at Westerdals Institute in Oslo, was one of the members of international jury of the festival’s Main Competition.
Mia Lindrup, manager of international relations of Norwegian Film Institute, presented current and upcoming Norwegian TV production that is now to be found at its qualitative peak during the Industry Programme.
Screenwriter Kathrine Valen Zeiner and producer Nina B. A. Figenschow took part in Q&A with audience after the screening of their series Valkyrien.
